The elected Treasures are contacted to confirm acceptance and told the date and time of the ceremony.
A videotaped interview is conducted from which material for a newspaper article will be written.
A portrait is taken to accompany the news article and a copy will also be hung at Los Alamos National Bank.
Another framed copy is given to each Treasure along with a certificate of appreciation.
